Building Financial Confidence Since 2019

We started oleraolryum because too many people were struggling with money management basics. Not because they couldn't do math — but because nobody ever taught them practical budgeting in ways that actually stick.

How We Got Here

2019

1

The Beginning

Started with weekend workshops in Orangeville. Just twelve people in a community center, talking about expense tracking and savings goals.

2021

2

Growing Recognition

Expanded to online formats when demand exceeded our physical space. Our approach to teaching spending patterns earned recognition from financial literacy advocates across Ontario.

2023

3

Curriculum Expansion

Developed specialized modules for different life stages — from first apartments to retirement planning. Each one built on feedback from hundreds of previous students.

2025

4

Today

We've helped over 3,000 Canadians develop sustainable budgeting habits. Our next cohort starts September 2025, and we're continually refining our methods based on what actually works.

What Drives Our Work

Practical Over Theoretical

We skip the academic jargon. Every lesson includes real spreadsheets, actual bank statements (anonymized), and tools you'll use next week.

No Judgment Zone

Everyone starts somewhere. We've worked with people carrying debt, people rebuilding after setbacks, and people just wanting to organize better. All are welcome.

Results That Stick

Our focus is long-term habit change, not quick fixes. Students leave with systems they can actually maintain — not overwhelming spreadsheets they'll abandon in a month.
